Five Year Warranty - Black Powder Coated Grill Guards & Bull Bars

If you believe that the Truck Gear Direct has failed to comply with the terms of this Limited Warranty, you must notify Truck Gear Direct of the alleged failure in writing within thirty (30) days after your discovery of the alleged defect, otherwise this Warranty is void as to that claim. Upon receipt of your written notice of claim, Truck Gear Direct will determine the exact cause of the failure through an investigation your cooperation and assistance will be necessary to make these determinations. Should Truck Gear Direct determine, at its sole discretion, that the item shipped by Truck Gear Direct has failed to comply with the terms of this Limited Warranty, Truck Gear Direct will repair, or replace the part, at its sole discretion. If Truck Gear Direct refinishes, it will use anodizing or matching paint. Truck Gear Direct reserves the right to approve any contract between customer and any third party for the purpose of correcting the defective product. This Limited Warranty only applies to the part refinished, repaired, reclad, or replaced for the unexpired portion of the Warranty period.

This Limited Warranty does not apply when the failure is caused by events or circumstance beyond our control. Such intervening events or circumstances include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Acts of nature;
  • Fire, flood, or other casualty or physical damage;
  • Government restrictions;
  • Acts of aggression or terrorism by any person or entity;
  • Harmful fumes or foreign substances in the environment;
  • Improper storage or packaging of the part or product before installation (e.g. water damage due to condensation);
  • Product failure due to improper usage and/or application;
  • Failure to provide reasonable routine and documented maintenance, and/or improper maintenance, including, but not limited to, use of chemical cleaning agents not in accordance with  our companies  recommendations or failure to use a systematic maintenance cleaning program in areas of high salt concentration;
  • Corrosive atmosphere found in the interior of Corrosive atmosphere found in the interior of buildings, which affect the interior surface of material;
  • Standing or “ponding” water on the metal; o Excessive building movements;
  • Work performed or materials supplied by others;
  • Post forming or welding of parts;
  • Improper treatment of finished material, such as scratching or abrading during     fabrication or installation, or fabrication at temperatures below 60° F;
  • Defects in the metal or in the fabrication (e.g. die lines, pitting, travel marks, etc.);
  • Previously anodized material unless it has been stripped to bare aluminum by Truck Gear Direct;
  • Material which is used outside the continental U.S., unless expressly approved in writing by Truck Gear Direct;
  • Corrosion of the metal substrate;
  • Finish deterioration originating from unpainted or exposed metal, such as unfinished saw cuts, unfinished joinery edges, punches, weep holes, or drill holes; Incompatibility between materials, including, but not limited to, galvanic corrosion due to contact with adjacent dissimilar metals such as stainless steel, etc;
  • Damage to the anodized metal occasioned by moisture or other contamination detrimental to the finish because of  improper storage of the finished metal prior to installation.
  • Rust caused by failure to clean product after being exposed to salt and harsh road chemicals will not be warrantied out and may be pro rated according to our terms.

Truck Gear Direct will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages of any kind. The Limited Warranty of any Products replaced or repaired under this Limited Warranty shall be limited to the remainder of the original Warranty Period. Truck Gear Direct reserves the right to reasonable field access to diagnose and repair any product alleged to be defective. This Limited Warranty may not be modified by anyone and it may not be changed by provisions or statements in any documents, included but not limited to your purchase order forms or our acceptance forms, unless such changes are made in writing by the owner of the business or a manger on duty.

 

TRUCK GEAR DIRECT MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING ITS PRODUCTS,OR ITS SELECTION AND APPLICATION, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, COMPLIANCE WITHBUILDING CODES, SAFETY CODES, LAWS, MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. Total liability for Truck Gear Direct under this Limited Warranty for any reason or origin is limited in total to the original purchase price for finishing the part(s). This Limited Warranty is extended solely to the Customer. It is nontransferable and non-assignable, and the Customer shall not permit or authorize its employees, agents, representatives or customers to claim, represent or imply that this Limited Warranty extends or is available to anyone other than the Customer.

This Limited Warranty is provided in lieu of any other warranty requirements or obligations, including those of Project Specifications or Non-Truck Gear Direct General Conditions or documents
All notices given and claims made under or pursuant to this Limited Warranty shall be in writing and sent by certified or registered mail, postage prepaid, return receipt requested to:  Attn: Owner, 12116 Hodges St., Houston, Texas 77085

Lifetime Warranty - Stainless Steel Grille Guards & Bull Bars

Hunter Products guarantee the original buyer a lifetime warranty against defects in materials. Workmanship, and finish under normal use. This warranty excludes damage from shipping and handling, road hazards, misuse, modifications, and product neglect. This warranty does not cover costs of labor, installation, removal, and shipping. If you use your vehicles in snowy areas, it is recommended that you clean your bars regularly to prevent any rust forming from salt and chemicals used to remove snow and ice. Salt and harsh chemicals may corrode the finish if you let it sit on the product for an extended period of time and will void your warranty. This lifetime warranty applies only to new products. Car wax, chrome/stainless steel polish can be used to clean stainless steel products. Please do not use any chemicals such as Windex or abrasive cleaners on the stainless steel product. Rust caused by failure to clean product after being exposed to salt and harsh road chemicals will not be warrantied out and may be pro rated according to our terms.

 

Lifetime Warranty - Aluminum Running Boards

Hunter Products guarantee the original buyer a lifetime warranty against defects in materials. Workmanship, and finish under normal use. This warranty excludes damage from shipping and handling, road hazards, misuse, modifications, and product neglect. This warranty does not cover costs of labor, installation, removal, and shipping. If you use your vehicles in snowy areas, it is recommended that you clean your bars regularly to prevent any discoloration or blemishes forming from salt and chemicals used to remove snow and ice. Salt and harsh chemicals may corrode the finish if you let it sit on the product for an extended period of time and will void your warranty. Do not use chrome polish on aluminum running boards as it will damage the finish and void the warranty. This lifetime warranty applies only to new products.


At Truck Gear Direct, your satisfaction is very important to us. Below are our policies regarding returning items purchased from our store. If you have any questions, please email us or through EBAY messages. Please contact us before returning any merchandise.

We offer the Following Return Options

•Items must be returned in their original undamaged condition within 30 days to receive a refund minus a 20% restocking fee.   The buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs. No COD (cash on delivery) will be accepted.

•If we ship the wrong item (which we rarely do) or there is a product defect, please notify us within 10 days and we will   provide you with a prepaid label to return the item for either a full refund to the original form of payment or an exchange. If   the original form of payment is not available, store credit will be issued.

•We do not accept returns on: any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery; any item that is not in its original   condition, damaged, used, or is missing parts. The customer must contact us prior to returning the item and must include a   copy of the invoice taped to the outside of the box.

•Shipments refused will be subject to a 10% restocking fee to cover the shipping cost since Fedex does not refund   undelivered boxes. Original shipping and handling fees will not be refundable.

Guarantees and Warranties: Truck Gear Direct will stand behind all products we sell with regards to manufacturing defects in workmanship and materials. Most products are limited to the manufacturer’s warranty; however we will do everything in our ability to take care of the problem.

 

Shipping

All of our orders are shipped via FedEx ground and in most cases arrive in 1-4 business days after leaving our warehouse. We ONLY ship to the continental 48 states. We do NOT ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or internationally.

APO/FPO - at this time we cannot ship to APO/FPO addresses.

We make every effort to have all products in stock. 99% of time within 2 working days. However, it may be necessary to order products from our supplier. This will result in additional time for shipping. We will notify you within 1 business day if additional shipping time is required.
