WARRANTY

 

 

 Limited Warranty

Hunter truck accessories offers a Five Year Limited Warranty on our Powder-Coated Products and a Limited Life Time Warranty on our Polished Stainless Steel Products. This guarantees the original purchaser of Hunter products against any manufacturer defects in materials, workmanship and finish under normal use from the date of original purchase.  This excludes damages occurred during freight, damages resulting from road debris, improper installation, product misuse, accidents, product modifications, product neglect or normal wear and tear of daily use.  This warranty does not apply to the rust/corrosion of the mounting brackets.  If the grille guard is rusting, Hunter will refinish the product at no cost to the customer.  The purchaser will only be responsible for the freight cost to and from our company.  The warranty applies only to new products and is limited to the repair or replacement of Hunter products by authorized Hunter dealers.  This warranty does not include costs of removal, installation, labor, inconvenience or consequential damages.  The original purchaser must return defective products with the original receipt to the original place of purchase.  Hunter products have a high quality finish that must be cared for like any other exposed finish on the vehicle.  Protect the finish with a non-abrasive wax, (e.g. Pure Carnauba) on a regular basis.  The use of any soap, polish or wax that contains an abrasive is harmful, as the compounds scratch the finish and open it to corrosion.  Our goal is to guarantee a perfect fit and complete customer satisfaction with every purchase. 

 

Warranty Return

Upon receipt of product customer is responsible for inspecting all merchandise to verify its condition. If there is any shipping damage it must be reported immediately to our claims department at helphuntertruck@yahoo.com. Please enclose clear digital photos of the damaged area so our claims department can begin the necessary process in order to get your merchandise replaced in a timely manner. All shipping damages must be reported within 72 hours of receipt of product. Any claim after 72 hours of receipt will not be accepted for any reason.

Any returns or exchanges for reason(s) other then manufacturer’s defects will only be accepted within 30 days of purchase. Before any return will be accepted we must be contacted beforehand to issue an RMA number. Any return received without an RMA number will not be accepted. The customer will be responsible for all shipping charges back to us and pending an inspection of the product will receive a refund minus our initial shipping costs incurred by us. Returns and exchanges will not be accepted if the original product is damaged through actions at the customer’s fault.


For any warranty claim the customer will be responsible for all shipping charges both to and from our warehouse and depending on the date of purchase will be responsible for additional prorated charges. Within the first 30 days of purchase, the customer will not be responsible for any additional charges. For claims between 30 days and six (6) months of purchase the customer will be responsible for an additional 25% of the original purchase price. For claims between six (6) months and twelve (12) months of original purchase will be responsible for an additional 35% of the original purchase price. For claims after one (1) year of purchase the customer will be responsible for an additional 50% of the original purchase price.
